Mappyband Compresso
DESCRIPTION
Mappyband Compresso is a pre-compressed adhesive and flexible polyurethane foam gasket with acrylate dispersion impregnation and a slow expansion from the initial thickness to the nominal one. Mappyband has excellent acoustic and thermal insulation properties.
APPLICATIONS
Mappyband Compresso is ideal for sealing gaps between wall and stud of the frames, to seal expansion joints and to fix corrugated sheets. Mappyband Compresso has a compression capacity of 92% and also has good temperature stability. For this characteristic, Mappyband Compresso is particularly suitable to be placed in areas with extreme temperature changes such as positioning in desert areas required for the infiltration of sand. Please notice that a complete expansion at 20°C may take 2 days, but if the material is stored and/or applied at around 0°C, the full decompression may take up to 10 days.
