SILSONIC – industry

SILSONIC is an eco-friendly sound-absorbing and thermal insulating panel made of 100% thermally bonded regenerated fibers, certified according to VDI 6022 to meet the strictest hygiene requirements in the HVAC sector. The fibers are safe, pose no health risks, and are sustainable as they are obtained from recycled plastic bottles.

Silsonic has been tested and complies with the most stringent European and American standards regarding volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. It has also demonstrated zero fiber erosion (ASTM C1071-16), meaning no particles are released into the air.

Thanks to the thermal bonding of the fibers and a specially engineered standard density, it ensures excellent sound absorption at medium and high frequencies.

Silsonic is resistant to humidity.

Depending on density and thickness, the fire reaction class can vary from Bs1d0 to Bs2d0.

Silsonic is CE marked.

Typical applications

Silsonic is ideal for acoustic correction and sound absorption in machinery and industrial environments such as ventilation ducts (HVAC), AHUs (air handling units), turbines, generator sets, industrial and railway vehicles, driver cabins, bodywork, industrial refrigeration and similar applications.
