Silsonic has been awarded the Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification, which confirms the low VOC emissions of fibre products, underscoring their effectiveness in improving indoor air quality.
Testing is carried out by EUROFINS following several protocols, including the Italian, French, German, British and American standards.
Through this assessment, Silsonic also contributes to earning additional credits under the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) programme, as do a number of our other products.
LEED standards define the requirements for constructing eco-compatible buildings in terms of energy efficiency and environmental resource consumption throughout the construction process, and are evaluated across the following areas: site sustainability, water efficiency, energy and materials, and indoor air quality.
Eco-sustainable products such as Silsonic therefore play a crucial role in meeting LEED standards, and the selection of the right materials helps earn certification credits, contributing to a greener future in construction.
