Today Mappy Italia operates from a modern production facility of over 22,000 m² and holds a Quality Management System certified to UNI EN ISO 9001, ensuring reliability, consistency and high production standards. In addition, the company holds ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.

THE ORIGINS
MAPPY was founded as a company manufacturing camping products and accessories for garden furniture: a small organization that, year after year, grew with steady and continuous development.
THE FIRST DIVERSIFICATION
MAPPY begins producing DIY gaskets, becoming a market leader at both national and European level.
THE MAPPY “CORE BUSINESS” IS BORN
During these years MAPPY continues its expansion, entering and specialising in a new sector: acoustic insulation. In a very short time, the company reorganises itself, investing in a new facility.
NEW HEADQUARTERS, NEW NAME: MAPPY ITALIA SPA IS BORN
The new headquarters is inaugurated and the company changes its name to MAPPY ITALIA, to reflect the origin and quality of its 100% made in Italy production.
THE SPECIALISATIONS AND THE QUALITY SYSTEM
The acoustic insulation specialisation sectors for the industrial sector as we know them today are established: sound absorption, sound insulation, anti-drumming and thermoacoustic insulation.
The company begins pursuing a quality policy by certifying its procedures and products.
A NEW LEADERSHIP FOR MAPPY ITALIA
2005 marks a turning point for Mappy Italia: the company opens a new chapter in its history with the arrival of new Management and the appointment of a new Managing Director.
ENTERING THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR
MAPPY ITALIA enters the construction sector, immediately offering specialised products backed by a unique thirty-year background in the Italian market. The company begins moving towards innovative materials with a low environmental impact.
MAPPYFIBER AND INTERIOR COMFORT
Mappy Italia continues its expansion and enters the interior design sector with Mappyfiber, decorative sound-absorbing panels made from regenerated fibre, a recycled material given a second life.
THE NEW LABORATORY
The in-house laboratory — the heart of the company’s research and innovation — is established and inaugurated.
THE MAPPYWOOD LINE IS LAUNCHED
The new range of decorative acoustic wood panels with elegant and premium finishes is introduced.
DECA COLLECTION
The Deca Collection is born — a premium range of acoustic panels that expresses acoustic furnishing in an artistic key, reimagining its forms and conception.
THE COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
Mappy Italia continues its expansion, targeting new international markets. Furthermore, as a testament to the company’s green ethos, MAPPY ITALIA installs a photovoltaic system that harnesses solar energy to generate electricity.
