PROJECT OVERVIEW
Bosco Verticale, designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti, is an innovative residential complex consisting of two towers located in the Porta Nuova district of Milan, renowned for hosting over 900 trees and 20,000 plants across its staggered terraces.
Inaugurated in 2014, it represents a model of sustainable urban reforestation, enhancing biodiversity, absorbing CO₂, reducing fine particulate matter and creating a comfortable residential microclimate.
Within the towers are prestigious apartments, where it was essential to ensure effective acoustic insulation between residential units, guaranteeing comfort and privacy for the residents.
OBJECTIVE OF THE ACOUSTIC INTERVENTION
To ensure high standards of acoustic comfort and privacy within adjacent apartments by intervening directly on horizontal partitions.
The focus was on the acoustic insulation of false ceilings, in order to significantly reduce the transmission and propagation of airborne and impact noise between different floors, improving comfort and overall living quality in the spaces below.
