Large open-plan office in Qatar, characterised by an industrial style with a minimal and functional design.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The open-plan office, characterised by large spaces, presented significant acoustic issues due to the presence of numerous sound sources: printers, ringing phones, conversations and constant background noise. This situation compromised workers’ concentration, generating fatigue and stress.
To improve the acoustic comfort of the environment, Mappyfiber Twinsound panels were installed in a ceiling baffle configuration, measuring 1200 x 300 cm. This solution made it possible to effectively reduce reverberation and various types of noise, ensuring a more comfortable and productive working environment.
The choice of Mappyfiber Twinsound was also supported by the architectural characteristics of the space: the large surfaces and generous heights allowed the product to integrate harmoniously, enhancing both its aesthetics and its high sound-absorbing performance. Thanks to the double curvature, the panel acts on both sides, maximising acoustic efficiency while adding a touch of colour and style to the environment.
