In contemporary work environments, particularly in open-plan offices, acoustic control represents a fundamental challenge. Constant background noise and sound reverberation can compromise concentration and wellbeing, negatively affecting productivity.
To address this need, Mappy Italia intervened in a large open-plan office in Milan by installing Mappyfiber Bombato Curved sound-absorbing panels in the circular version. The acoustic panels, with a diameter of 1200 mm, integrate harmoniously into the interior design, creating modern suspended acoustic islands that significantly reduce the reverberation typical of these spaces.
Moreover, the large size of the panels makes it possible to reduce installation time and cover wider surfaces with a smaller number of elements, ensuring an effective intervention both functionally and aesthetically.
