PROJECT DESCRIPTION
For a villa located in the Czech Republic, an intervention was carried out to improve acoustic comfort through the installation of decorative Mappyfiber sound-absorbing panels. On the ceiling, Mappyfiber Bombato Cerchio panels were installed in diameters of 1200 mm and 600 mm, while Mappyfiber Linear Bombato panels were applied to the walls.
The choice to integrate sound-absorbing solutions stemmed from the need to optimize the acoustics of the spaces, particularly in transitional areas such as corridors and stairwells. These areas were affected by echo and reverberation phenomena that propagated between the different levels of the residence.
To maintain consistency with the villa’s style, soft and elegant colors were selected, perfectly harmonized with the overall setting.
RESULT: a significant improvement in indoor acoustics of the villa, especially in critical areas such as corridors and stairwells. In addition to their technical function, the panels enhance the spaces, becoming contemporary design elements that contribute to the interior décor.
