The new Law University Campus in Qatar stands out as one of the country’s leading institutions dedicated to educating future lawyers and legal professionals. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs that combine theoretical studies of national and international law with practical training through internships and research initiatives.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The focus for Mappy Italia was the university auditorium of the campus, conceived as a central academic space essential for lectures, conferences, debates, events and ceremonies. The consultant’s vision was to create an auditorium that reflects academic prestige while ensuring excellent acoustics and architectural quality.
Mappy Italia designed and supplied the entire acoustic and decorative cladding of the space, with custom solutions using a tailored combination of Mappywood Perforated and Mappywood Slotted wall panels.
The panels feature carefully calibrated perforations and grooves to improve the acoustics of the environment and control reverberation, ensuring that every lecture and presentation is clearly perceived, without echo or unwanted reverberation. Behind all panels, Silsonic—our regenerated and recycled fiber—is applied, guaranteeing excellent sound-absorbing performance.
THE RESULT: an elegant academic auditorium with strong visual impact, combining architectural quality and acoustic comfort.
