POLISTIK CH is a single-sided adhesive sealing tape made of chemically cross-linked closed-cell expanded polyethylene. It is waterproof and features one adhesive side (water-based acrylic adhesive). It offers excellent mechanical properties and resistance to weathering.
Typical applications
Polistik CH is a multi-purpose self-adhesive gasket with good thermal and acoustic insulation properties. It adheres perfectly to surfaces, is waterproof, prevents condensation and frost, and reduces heat loss, thus promoting energy savings.
Polistik CH is therefore suitable for many applications: for the insulation of water pipes or for sealing pipe sections, including in air conditioning units and boilers.
