MAPPYSIL CR 403 is a sound-insulating and thermal insulating panel made of two layers of 100% thermally bonded regenerated fiber, certified to meet the strictest hygiene requirements, with an interposed high-density flexible elastomeric barrier to increase mass and improve sound insulation. The fiber layers are designed to decouple the heavy barrier from the noise source. One fiber layer is coupled with a self-extinguishing protective film resistant to water, oils, and dust.
Mappysil CR 403 performs a triple function: sound absorption, sound insulation, and thermal insulation.
Mappysil CR 403 is also available in an adhesive version with water-based acrylic glue.
Mappysil CR 403 is resistant to humidity.
Typical applications
Thanks to the protective film that makes it water-repellent, Mappysil CR 403 is mainly suitable for acoustic insulation in industrial environments where water and oil splashes are present.
