MAPPYSIL CR RE PLATE GOFFRATO ALVEOLARE is a sound-insulating panel made of two layers of self-extinguishing expanded polyurethane foam (in the non-adhesive version), with an interposed high-density flexible elastomeric barrier to increase mass and improve sound insulation. The polyurethane foam layers are designed to decouple the heavy barrier from the noise source. One polyurethane layer is coupled with a self-extinguishing protective film with an embossed honeycomb surface, resistant to water, oils, and dust.
This product is also available in an adhesive version with water-based acrylic glue.
Typical applications
Thanks to the protective film that makes it water-repellent, Mappysil CR RE Plate Goffrato Alveolare is mainly suitable for acoustic insulation in industrial environments where water and oil splashes are present. It is used in engine compartments, machinery, enclosures, and casing linings.
