MAPPYSILENT is an elastomeric material filled with mineral compounds, giving it a high specific weight.
It is a damping material ideal as a lead substitute. It is also environmentally friendly and does not contain polluting compounds such as bitumen.
Mappysilent is also available in an adhesive version with hot-melt glue.
Typical applications
MAPPYSILENT is an acoustic barrier suitable wherever a sound-insulating mass is required. It is used to reduce vibrations on metal structures, sheet metal, fiberglass, and plastic laminates.
It is also ideal for acoustic insulation of pipes, particularly drainage pipes, discharge stacks, and ducting systems, especially where available space is extremely limited.
