BUTYFLEX T250 AL is an adhesive sealing tape made of butyl rubber with an aluminum foil, resistant to UV rays and tearing. The specially formulated rubber adhesive layer ensures sealing, preventing water from penetrating and reaching the substrate.
It can be applied to various materials for noise reduction purposes.
Typical applications
BUTYFLEX T250 AL is easy to apply and guarantees long-lasting waterproofing. It does not ooze, is solvent-free, and is easy to remove.
It is resistant to UV rays and water. Adhesion is immediate and it can be applied on metal sheets, plastic laminates, glass, wood, and PVC.
Butyflex T250 AL is ideal for adding mass to structures for vibration damping, such as fiberglass, metal, plywood, plasterboard, or plastic structures, elevator walls, industrial vehicles, the electronics industry, machine casings, exhaust pipes, drainage stacks, ducting systems, and any component subject to vibrations.
It is also ideal for repair work on roofs and greenhouses, gutter linings, sealing of window frames, and pipes in general.
