MAPPYSILENT

MAPPYSILENT is an elastomeric material filled with mineral compounds that give it a high specific weight.

It is an anti-vibration material, ideal as a substitute for lead; it is also eco-friendly and does not contain polluting compounds such as bitumen.

Mappysilent is also available in a self-adhesive version with hot-melt adhesive.

Mappysilent is available in different weights (kg) to suit various application needs.

Mappysilent is also available in a Bs1d0 fire reaction class version (Fonosilent).

Typical applications

Mappysilent is an acoustic barrier suitable wherever a sound-insulating mass is required. It is therefore used to reduce vibrations on metal structures, sheet metal, fibreglass and plastic laminates. It is an ideal product for the acoustic insulation of pipes, especially drainage pipes, downpipes and ducting systems in general, where available space is extremely limited.
