MUSSTIK/RS is a closed-cell EPDM rubber material, rot-proof and black in colour, coated with a polyethylene film (RS Film). The polyethylene RS Film makes the product eco-friendly as it eliminates the need to remove a release liner, thus reducing the environmental impact related to its disposal.
Musstik/RS is therefore produced in a self-adhesive version without a protective liner, using a water-based acrylic adhesive.
In compliance with environmental protocols, Musstik/RS does not contain CFCs or HCFCs and is free from PFAS. It is also recyclable.
The standard density of the material is 130 kg/m³. Other densities are available on request.
Typical applications
Musstik/RS is a multi-purpose gasket. It can be used as an anti-condensation material in the air conditioning and refrigeration sector. It is used as a sealing gasket against air, dust, water and noise. It is also ideal as a gasket in the electrical field.
